Spring is finally here, the trees are turning a delicate shade of green, street cafés are opening and the season of open-air festivals is beginning. From Easter festivals to the Carnival of Cultures, many spring festivals are taking place. Cultural highlights such as the Berlin Design Week and the Theatre Meeting also take place. A colourful bouquet of flowers that we have picked for you with our top 11 tips for spring events in Berlin.

Tip 1: FALLING I IN LOVE at the Friedrichstadtpalast

GAULTIER designed the costumes for the celebrated THE ONE Grand Show at Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin back in 2018. The visually split show name FALLING | IN LOVE visualises an ambiguity. In the current crisis-ridden times, the word FALLING in the title of the show echoes a feeling felt by many people. At times, the ground we thought was safe seems to be swaying or breaking up. But at the Palast, despite everything, people believe in the beauty of this world and the good in people. So the guests do not fall into a bottomless pit, but into a sea of colour - and love. Leave the cold, petrified world behind and plunge headlong into the garden of love with You, a young poet.

When: from 21 March
Where: Friedrichstadtpalast, Friedrichstraße 107, Mitte
