Primavera / Asparagus Festival in Berlin Schöneberg

This year you can finally stroll, feast, buy and drink again on Akazien and Belziger Straße. Traditionally on Mother's Day weekend, the Schöneberg neighborhood celebrates the traditional asparagus festival.

The reigning asparagus queen Joelina Jakobs comes on Saturday in the time of 15.00 - 16.00 o'clock and answers all questions around the asparagus. The royal highness stands at the Apostle Paul Church, directly at the asparagus stand.

There you can buy freshly cut and peeled asparagus from the "Jakobshof" from Beelitz, or even eat it on the spot, freshly cooked. At various other self-producers, there are besides asparagus also fresh strawberries, vegetables and plants and herbs.

At over 100 booths, the popular exhibitors from the Schöneberg Pumpkin Festival and also some new interesting dealers, present their creations, collections and goods from around the world.

For the little ones is of course also provided. In the Apostel-Paulus-Straße are various children's carousels, as well as the popular "small" Ferris wheel. In Belziger Straße, the "Bärlin Biker Crew" will be painting and doing handicrafts for the benefit of disadvantaged children, and the DLRG will be offering the popular face painting for children.

Guests can enjoy the colorful market hustle and bustle on Saturday, May 10, from 11:00 to 20:00 and on Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00.

Tip: the Apostle Paul Church opens its doors on both days for visitors and music lovers.
