Tip 8: Power up and cheer on at the Berlin Women's Run

Run together, be strong together! The Berlin Women's Run is Germany's largest charity run for women and girls and brings thousands onto the course every year. Whether 5 or 10 kilometres, running, walking or Nordic walking - it's not just about athletic performance, but above all about cohesion, empowerment and solidarity. What makes it special: One euro from every entry fee goes to the Berliner Krebsgesellschaft e.V. to support women with cancer in financial need.

Every year in May, Berlin becomes the big stage for the most exciting theatre productions in the German-speaking world. The Berlin Theatre Meeting is the most important festival for stage art and brings the 10 most outstanding productions of the year to the capital. A jury selects the most impressive plays from up to 600 submissions, which are then shown in various theatres in Berlin.
In the Night Talks, directors and actors discuss the creation of their works with the audience. The International Forum invites theatre makers from all over the world to exchange ideas, and Burning Issues is dedicated to burning issues in the cultural sector. The Site-Specific-Performances, in which Berlin itself becomes a stage, are also particularly exciting.
