Once a month, those involved in “Studio REALTALK” open their doors to audiences of all ages and give an insight into their current work: As part of the public event series REALTALK - Open Studios, young media makers, comedians, artists and activists discuss. Come along and join in the conversation!
People between the ages of 15 and 27 meet weekly in “Studio REALTALK” at the Theater an der Parkaue and develop their own performative news studio.
They talk about what is urgent: about stress at school and the shift to the right within society, rising prices, inequality of opportunity and how they want to experience and shape participation and democracy. Together they take a closer look at our time, take a critical look at news and media and position themselves against the right.
Using the means of theater, they imagine what everything would be like if they designed it according to their ideas. They develop open cultural and exchange formats and invite audiences and guests to gain insights into their work process.

The project takes place in cooperation with youth facilities in Marzahn-Hellersdorf and is funded by the Youth Culture Initiative of the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion.
