A spontaneous visit to a concert in the Philharmonie during the lunch break - and admission is free. The concerts, which last around 40 to 50 minutes, offer a varied program that ranges from chamber music to piano pieces to percussion duos, with works from Tchaikovsky to tango.
Members of the Berlin Philharmonic or the Karajan Academy often perform, as do artists from the German Symphony Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Berlin or the Berlin music academies.
To accompany the lunch concert, there is high-quality and inexpensive catering from 12 noon until shortly before the concert begins.
This is possible every Wednesday at 1 p.m. from September to June.
