Comedy by the successful Brazilian author João Bethencourt

Opportunity makes thieves. Samuel Leibowitz, a somewhat cranky Jewish cab driver, takes this proverb seriously and drags the Pope, who is in New York, home at gunpoint to lock him up in his kosher pantry.

This is nothing unusual for his wife Sarah and his family, who have long since become accustomed to his bizarre ideas.

The fact that Samuel wants to extort a "World Day of Peace" on which no blood is allowed to flow pleases the Pope, and a warm, happy relationship develops between the Catholic Church leader and the Jewish family. The world gets a breather.

With wordplay and situational comedy, the comedy takes its course. Will the day of peace come to pass?

A fun theater classic about the peaceful coexistence of people, funny, intelligent and highly topical!
