In the anniversary year of 2024, the arcades have come up with something very special: visitors can expect numerous promotions, competitions, DIY workshops, puppet theater, fairy tales and musical highlights. A free gift wrapping service rounds off the offer.
Highlights on the Advent weekends
Black Weekend (November 29th - December 1st)
The kick-off begins on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with sweet cake pops and mystery cards that surprise with great prizes such as shopping vouchers. The "Mirror Dancers" in their sparkling mirror suits provide spectacular entertainment.
Second Advent weekend (December 6th - 8th)
On St. Nicholas Day, Santa Claus and his helpers will visit the arcades. At the same time, the wrapping station on the first floor will open. On Saturday, children and adults can make their own Christmas door wreaths from 1:00 p.m., while the play The Gingerbread Heart will be performed in the puppet theater from 2:00 p.m. On Sunday (December 8th), when shops are open, sweet waffle snacks with toppings will entice visitors to sweeten their shopping trip.
Third Advent weekend (December 13th - 15th)
On Friday, creative minds can paint Christmas tree baubles individually from 1:00 p.m. On Saturday, a hot chocolate bar awaits guests and a pianist will create a festive atmosphere with Christmas melodies. The puppet theater will show Rudolph the Reindeer at 2:00 p.m. The wrapping station is open on all three days from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Fourth Advent weekend (December 20th - 22nd)
On Friday and Saturday, a live pianist and a storyteller will enchant visitors. In addition, candle holders can be made from tree balls in the DIY area from 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The puppet theater will show The Little Polar Bear from 2:00 p.m.
The fourth Advent Sunday (December 22nd) is once again open for business and offers live music, sweet pancakes and the last opportunity to shop for and have gifts wrapped in a relaxed atmosphere from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Christmas in the Arcades
On December 23rd, a live pianist will provide musical accompaniment while gifts can be wrapped at the wrapping station. On Christmas Eve (December 24th) there will be a festive program from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., during which Santa Claus will also stop by in person to get guests, young and old, in the mood for the festivities.
