Germany's second professional chili competition will take place on September 7 in the Berlin Bergbrauerei and the Berlin amateur chili competition on September 8, 2024.

The Berlin Chili Festival returns to its roots in September with the Chili Harvest Festival at the Berliner Berg Brauerei.
This time, the festival is proud to present Germany's second professional chilli eating competition in collaboration with League of Fire, the world's recognized authority on chilli eating competitions.
This event marks the second year of the German championship of this prestigious competition, where the best chili eaters come together to compete for the German professional title belt. Last year's winner of the amateur competition “Gee Demiray” will be competing in the professional class this year.
The exciting final of the Berlin amateur chili competition will also take place at the festival. Over 50 participants will fight a fierce battle to the end, with only one participant being crowned Berlin's chili eating legend. The winner will also qualify to take part in the professional competition in 2025.
To take part in the Berlin Amateur Chilli Eating Contest, you must arrive on site before 1 pm on Sunday and register at the stage. The first event will take place at 2pm and participants will be required to sign a liability waiver.
In addition to the riveting competitions, the festival brings over 50 hot sauce vendors from all over Europe, delicious food booths, live music, entertainment and a few surprises. This family-friendly event also includes a children's play area on the grounds.

To cover the costs of the organization, the team and the venue, a donation of €5 is requested at the door. The event starts at 12pm and runs until 10pm on Saturday and Sunday, so visitors can enjoy the festival all day long.
