The Kulturstiftung Schloss Britz presents the fairytale Christmas on all four Advent weekends at the Britz estate. The historical Christmas market is organised by the artists of the travelling theatre ‘Cocolorus Budenzauber’, fantastically decorated and creatively performed. In addition to the usual ‘mulled wine and gourmet treats’, it promises a unique programme in Berlin.

The beautiful Snow Queen with her funny trolls and Mother Hulda mingle with the crowds and invite young and old to enjoy the Christmas programme on the fairytale stage of the travelling theatre.

On the theatre wagon, in the fairytale tent, on the open-air stage and on the troll meadow, fairytale stories with hand puppets, theatre, magic, dance and acrobatics in fantastic winter costumes are offered. There are also many activities to experience on the estate, children's games, a wooden water wheel and large, impressive Viking boats to climb on.

The live Christmas music will be played by Cocolorus Diaboli. There is also plenty of food and drink on offer. At the Christmas market you will find many delicacies such as baked almonds, apple fritters, crêpes, marzipan specialities, langos, bruscetta flatbreads and grilled fire-roasted meat.

In addition to the classic red and white mulled wine, there will be medieval spiced wine, hot quince mead and the Scandinavian mulled punch Glögg. There will once again be delicious warm elderberry apple punch for children. The market ends in the evening with a fire show by ‘Araga Mysteria’.
