The Berlin Biennale from June to September offers a colourful programme of events about and with contemporary artists. You can then hunt for kitsch and treasures from days gone by at the weekly flea market at Mauerpark. In addition to handmade jewellery, fashion, and books, you will want to check out the numerous food stands. Your taste buds are in for a treat year-round in Berlin, including the Beer Festival in August and Berlin Food Week in October.
