Hertha Berlin, the city's Bundesliga team, play at the world famous Olympiastadion every other weekend. If you are visiting when Hertha Berlin are playing away from home or out of the football season, you can still take a tour of the Olympiastadion and learn about the history of the club.
The Berlin Marathon, which is held every September, follows a route past many of the city's most famous landmarks. In 2016, there are almost 47,000 entrants from all over the world.
