The Berlin Hockey Club is one of the most successful clubs in Germany and has already produced several national players. The Berlin club was founded in 1905 and plays its home matches at the Ernst-Reuter-Stadium which was renovated and re-opened in 2010. Red-Blue BHC's men's and women's teams both play in the 1200-seater stadium in Berlin-Zehlendorf. Berlin Hockey Club's men's team won the German Championship in 2012, securing its 7th title in German field hockey. BHC offers lacrosse as well as hockey. Within the club there is a particular focus on the promotion of young talent as well as opportunities for older players. The Berlin Hockey Club has established itself as a top address for elite sport in the capital.
