Against the backdrop of recent political developments in Eastern Europe and Germany, the concept of 'PostOst' will be brought to the forefront of attention. A 'PostOst Café' will be opened, a place for coming together, for encounters, for conversations and for literature.

Two authors and one theorist will present their current work. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to talk together about the diverse potentials, histories, perspectives and meanings of PostOst, about the solidarity power of literature and about ways of the future.

The realities of love and sexuality in the context of PostOst and their literary processing means are the focus of this new round of the PostOst Café.

Those interested will explore historical circumstances, stereotypes, queer resistance even in times of the Russian invasion war in Ukraine and the possibility of sex-positive and queer language using text and theory.

What role does queerness play in the PostOst discourse?

How can spaces be designed in which people with a diverse identity can meet in the PostEast context?

The participants will deal with questions about suitable narratives and formats and find out which gaps have existed so far.

The guests will talk about the diversity of experiences, their artistic manifestation, and open up new perspectives and possibilities for discourse and exchange.

We would like to point out that the lift in the building is unfortunately not working at the moment. For this reason, access is currently restricted. We would like to apologise for this.
