+ Virtual-Reality-Erlebnis Bei Liebermanns

Te Stiftung Brandenburger Tor is expanding the
presentation "Liebermanns Welt" on the life and work of the artist Max
Liebermann and his family with a unique virtual reality experience: "Bei
Liebermanns".

Max Liebermann is one of the most important German painters. As part of the virtual reality experience "Bei Liebermanns," the Stiftung Brandenburger Tor is reconstructing the artist's residence and studio, which were completely destroyed during the Second World War. In a fascinating journey through time, visitors have the unique opportunity to walk through the music room, dining room, study and Max Liebermann's famous glass studio on the roof of the house.

The virtual tour also allows visitors to enjoy works by Max Liebermann as well as his impressive art collection, which was partly lost during the Second World War or scattered all over the world - from Édouard Manet to Renoir, Monet, Degas, Cezanne and others. The presentation "Liebermanns Welt" also illuminates the highlights of Max Liebermann's life. The Stiftung Brandenburger Tor recalls the disenfranchisement and persecution of the Liebermann family after the National Socialists seized power
