The world of books is once again coming to the Haus der Berliner Festspiele for the 25th international literature festival berlin (ilb).
Literature enthusiasts of all generations can experience international authors up close in around 150 readings, discussions, and workshops and discover exciting new releases.
Multivocal and courageous perspectives from around the world in Berlin.
The programme ranges from prose, poetry, non-fiction, graphic novels to children's and youth literature. Around 150 authors read, discuss and share their different perspectives on the world with the audience.
The International Literature Festival Berlin presents the literary diversity of contemporary prose and poetry from around the world every September.
The ilb is one of the most important literary events worldwide.
Its broad stylistic and thematic spectrum is unique – whether prose, poetry, nonfiction, graphic novels, or children's and young adult literature.
