It's going to be loud, energetic and unforgettable! On 18 and 19 April 2025, the Junction Bar will be transformed into a hotspot for handmade music. For the third time, ‘Breaking the Silence’ will break the silence with five powerful bands, ensuring two nights full of rock, punk, hard rock and metal.

The idea behind ‘Breaking the Silence’
For decades, it was not allowed to hold public events on Good Friday – but in a cosmopolitan city like Berlin, this no longer fits with the times. ‘Breaking the Silence’ is a symbol of cultural diversity and musical freedom, bringing together people of all faiths, atheists and music fans. Music unites – and that's exactly what they celebrate on this special weekend!
