HOLLYWOOD GLAMOUR AT THE BERLINALE 2025

In the stylish CHIARO Bar, internationally acclaimed artist Axel Crieger presents his exclusive photo collages, which perfectly combine timeless elegance and cinematic atmosphere.


The exhibition features iconic portraits of eleven international celebrities, including world-famous stars such as George Clooney, Jack Nicholson, Emma Stone, Marlon Brando and Marilyn Monroe. With his unique technique, which merges photography, graphic design and painting, Crieger creates works that tell stories and show Hollywood icons in a completely new light. The highlight of the exhibition, which is open to the public and features six large-format works, are photo collages created exclusively for the Hotel de Rome. The artfully staged black and white images combine famous personalities with the historical backdrop of the hotel and lend the CHIARO Bar the flair of a glamorous Hollywood era.


Among the works on display are:

• THE BOYS ARE BACK - George Clooney, Jack Nicholson and Leonardo DiCaprio in a casual pose in the CHIARO Bar
  
• FRIENDS - Marlon Brando and Marilyn Monroe
  
• BEST MEN - Brad Pitt, Jack Nicholson and George Clooney pose in front of Tiffany & Co.
  
• THE AMERICAN - John F. Kennedy in front of the Hotel de Rome
  
• 3 OSCARS - Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence at the entrance of the Hotel de Rome
  
• SICILIAN FLIP - Monica Bellucci and Marcello Mastroianni
  

Some of these stars have already been guests at the Hotel de Rome or visited the capital during the Berlinale, which makes the exhibition even more authentic and exclusive. While visiting the exhibition in the CHIARO Bar, guests can enjoy exquisite cocktails while admiring the breathtaking view of the historic Bebelplatz - a perfect interplay of art, pleasure and history.
