Psychothriller by Sebastian Fitzek
Josy, the 12-year-old daughter of the well-known psychiatrist Viktor Larenz, disappears under mysterious circumstances without a trace. There are no witnesses, a corpse was never found. Years later, Viktor is asked to interview by a magazine. He retreats to a deserted island, hoping to finally find his way back to the world and finally get to know the story.

Unexpectedly he gets a visit from the young author Anna Spiegel, who suffers from madness and asks him to treat her. She claims to have visions of a girl who has disappeared without a trace. In their descriptions, there are clear parallels to Josy. Do their hallucinations have anything to do with the disappearance of the girl? After a long hesitation Viktor starts the therapy with Anna. But what he is doing with it, surpasses his worst nightmares ...
