The Berlin perennial plant market

With its new paths, the Berlin perennial marketit invites you to stroll around the market against the impressive backdrop of the historic greenhouses.  

The stalls of over 80 garden centres, nurseries and seed growers, from small regional businesses to international specialists, will be lined up along the one-kilometre-long market route.

A huge range of the floral world is on offer here. The Berlin perennial market is also an information and exchange centre for gardeners themselves. Here, visitors can meet the stars of the scene and get expert advice.


Current topics such as preserving biodiversity in your own garden or flower box, especially insects and native songbirds, are very popular with bedding and balcony fans. Native flowering perennials and ornamental grasses provide food with their seeds in winter, they provide material for nests and are hiding places from enemies. The focus is always on enjoying plants, gardens and nature. As usual, there is a rich selection of good and beautiful garden accessories and a delicious culinary offer. For 25 years, the Berlin perennial market has stood for the preservation and promotion of garden culture, variety and plant quality in the garden sector. Since the very beginning, this has also included sustainable plant production and garden design. The organisers of the perennial market have always been trendsetters in this area. The perennial market is organised by the Runze & Casper advertising agency, with the Botanical Garden Berlin as a cooperation partner. The market is managed by Strauchpoeten and presented by Gärtnerhof GmbH.
