The UEFA EURO 2024 is just around the corner, bringing with it a wave of excitement and joy that will spread beyond the city. While the matches are taking place and everyone is cheering on the teams, the little ones should also get their money's worth during this exciting time. Whether they are big football fans or not, this article lists a variety of activities to keep children entertained and amused. Our 11 tips for Berlin with kids!
Tip 1: Climbing and watching football in the Jungfernheide forest high ropes course
The Waldhochseilgarten is a great viewing tip for families, to watch the matches of the German national team together. In addition to these broadcasts, other matches are also shown depending on the time of the game and weather conditions. The grown-ups can make themselves comfortable on beer benches and cosy deckchairs, while the little ones have fun in the climbing forest. The public viewing is free of charge, but places are limited. The organisers therefore ask you to book in advance. This way, you will also be notified if a broadcast has to be cancelled due to bad weather.
