The big Fan Zones

Public viewing in front of the largest gate in the world

For UEFA EURO 2024 the Brandenburg Gate hosts the largest football goal in the world. Here you can watch many games of the European Football Championship live on the biggest screen in the city. All matches taking place in Berlin, all matches of the German national team and all matches of the elimination round (from the quarter-finals onwards) will be broadcast. When there are no matches, you can watch football-related films on the evenings. The official fan mile runs from the Brandenburg Gate via Straße des 17. Juni to the Große Queerallee. Enjoy Concerts, DJs, workshops and lots of activities for football fans  - and all free of charge!

By the way: Luciano, Alvaro Soler, Elif and Leonie, among others, have announced their participation in the big opening show for the football culture summer on 12 June from 7.30 pm. Admission is free.

Hosting an own stadium: Fan Zone Platz der Republik

The second large Fan Zone at Platz der Republik can be found directly in front of the Reichstag. Here the Home of Adidas Football Stadium will be temporarily set up for public viewing. All 51 UEFA EURO 2024 matches will be broadcast here. Look forward to concerts, art events, activities and more. Fans can meet on the lawn in front of the Reichstag for a picnic, to play football and, of course, to cheer on the public viewing! Admission is free.

Climbing and watching football in the Jungfernheide

The viewing tip for families: In any case, the Waldhochseilgarten will broadcast all matches of the German national team, as well as a few more depending on the match time and weather. Here you can sit on beer benches and cosy deckchairs - while the kids let off steam in the climbing forest. The public viewing is free, but as there are only a limited number of seats, the organisers ask you to book in advance. This way, you can also be notified if the broadcast has to be cancelled due to bad weather.

Public viewing with a view of the government district: Weltwirtschaft at HKW

The Weltwirtschaft at Haus der Kulturen der Welt is a wonderful summer venue. Here you can enjoy the sunset with family and friends and watch all the European Championship matches live on a big screen in the beer garden during the 2024 football summer. If you want to have a proper dinner before the game, visit the restaurant. After the game, you can visit the rooftop kiosk and enjoy the view over the Tiergarten and government district with an evening drink.

For playful fans: Radical Playgrounds

As part of the Kunstparcours Radical Playgrounds There is also a nice beer garden in the car park in front of the Gropiusbau. Perfect for a cosy and inspiring afternoon for the whole family. All the installations are accessible and there are plenty of opportunities for the little ones to climb and run around. And of course, art lovers will also get their money's worth. In addition to Radical Playgrounds, the Gropius Bau is currently showing Nancy Holt: Circles of Light and Pallavi Paul: How Love Moves.  A very special football highlight is the performance by Massimo Furlan, who re-enacts the historic 1974 World Cup football match between the GDR and the FRG. Unexpectedly, the GDR won 1:0 and the venue for the performance is Niederkirchnerstraße, where the Berlin Wall once stood. The re-enactment will take place on 7 and 8 July from 8 pm, admission from 7 pm. All activities and the art trail are free of charge.

Directly on the water: Watching football at the Café am Neuen See

Idyllic as it gets: Located directly on the waterfront, the Café am Neuen See invites you to the beer garden for public viewing. All matches that take place during regular opening hours will be shown - rain or shine. Only in the event of thunderstorms will be cancelled for safety reasons. You can look forward to a menu specially tailored to UEFA EURO 2024. Admission is free and children are also very welcome. If you want to be active yourself, hire a rowing boat.

For groups: Barbecue and watch football at the Zollpackhof

In a typical beer garden atmosphere, the Zollpackhof will be broadcasting the UEFA EURO 2024 matches. The public viewing will be accompanied by freshly tapped beer and tasty food from the barbecue. Watch football under shady chestnut trees and let yourself be carried away by the fantastic atmosphere. You only need a reservation if you are travelling with groups of eight or more. Berlin's oldest beer garden: Public Viewing in the Prater

Berlin's oldest beer garden, the Prater, has been spruced up for the new season and awaits you with new furniture and a new menu. The old trees, under which you can sit comfortably in the shade and watch the UEFA EURO 2024 matches, have been retained. The Prater beer garden also offers space for larger groups.

Soul food for football fans at the Berliner Bergbrauerei

For the UEFA EURO 2024, the Berliner Bergbrauerei is customising its menu with street and soul food dishes from various European countries. Look forward to SoulFood EM for culinary surprises and exciting matches, which will be broadcast on a 12 square metre LED screen.

Public viewing with professional sports presenters in the Studio 14 RBB rooftop lounge

In the rbb rooftop lounge, you can watch football with a breathtaking view over Berlin. Under the motto "Join in the excitement and cheer", rbb24 Inforadio invites you to a joint public viewing of selected UEFA EURO 2024 matches. Of course, the radio and TV station's own sports presenters will also guide you through the evening in the in-house rooftop lounge. Football experts will be brought to the microphone before kick-off, who will of course also analyse the respective matches afterwards. Cold drinks and snacks will be available at the bar. Admission is free, but reservations are required due to limited seating. It starts on 19 June with Germany against Hungary, admission from 4 pm.

Play chess and watch football

Chess fans will get their money's worth just a few minutes' walk from the large Brandenburg Gate fan zone. At the World Chess Club Berlin, you can watch all the UEFA EURO 2024 matches on a large screen. There will also be cocktails and party vibes. Hats off to anyone who can still concentrate on playing chess.

Silent film concerts for UEFA EURO 2024

The public viewing with live piano music promises a very special football experience. Stephan Graf von Bothmer, who usually accompanies silent films on the piano, will provide dramatic film music for selected UEFA EURO 2024 matches. There will be no moderation. Admission is free, donations are welcome.

Public Viewing of the Centre Francais de Berlin with cultural programme in the cinema hall of Kino Wedding

A varied music and cultural programme awaits you around the public viewing in Kino Wedding. Snacks and drinks are available at the bar. French snacks will be served from 29 June until the final match on 14 July. Depending on the weather and start time, the final matches will be shown either at 6 pm or 9 pm on a big screen outside in the courtyard or in the cinema. At the same time, Casablanca gGmbH invites you to watch and take part in cultural and sporting activities.

VIP public viewing in the inner courtyard of the Telegraph Office

All 51 matches will be broadcast in the inner courtyard of the Telegraph Office in front of the Dieselhaus. The area offers space for 750 fans and will open two hours before the start of each match. In addition to this free area, there is also a VIP lounge. Tickets are available from 99 euros and include drinks, a buffet, as well as talks and insights with Bild's football experts.

BRLO am Gleisdreieckpark

The Berlin craft beer brewery BRLO Brwhouse also invites you to public viewing in the beer garden. All matches will be broadcast on a big screen. Craft beer, burgers, fries and other delicious barbecue specialities will be served. Be sure to try the BBQ popcorn and the home-brewed grapefruit Radler. To secure a place right in front of the screen, European Championship packages for up to six people can be booked online now.

Cult & culture in the Zenner Biergarten

There is always something going on in the Zenner Bier- und Weingarten: concerts and open-air cinema promise entertaining evenings right on the Spree in an iconic Berlin atmosphere. In winter, you can go ice skating here and, of course, watch all the UEFA EURO 2024 matches in the football summer. There is also a colourful cultural and entertainment programme. So it's also worth stopping by on non-match days.

Wine festival to kick off the European Championships

The start of the European Championships coincides with the annual wine festival on Walter-Benjamin-Platz. For public viewing, you can pick up selected vintner wines and street food here. Then round off the evening with a great DJ set. After the wine festival, the UEFA EURO 2024 matches will be broadcast from the nostalgic kiosk.

Enjoy good wine and football at the Weinlobbyist 

You can enjoy all of the German team's matches at the Weinlobbyist with a good glass of wine. When the weather is fine, the matches are shown in the courtyard; when it rains, they are shown in the Supperclub on the upper floor. It is advisable to book in advance. The opening match between Germany and Scotland on 14 June is already fully booked. Reservations are still possible for the match between Germany and Hungary on 19 June from 6 pm and Germany and Switzerland on 23 June from 9 pm. Other matches may also be broadcast, we will keep you up to date.

Lots of space to watch football in the Kulturbrauerei

The courtyard of the Kulturbrauerei will become a stadium for UEFA EURO 2024. All matches will be broadcast in the large inner courtyard on a really big LED screen. There will also be hearty food from the barbecue and fresh beer. In previous years, DJs have also played at happy hour on Friday and Saturday. If it rains, the game will be shown on large screens in one of the Kulturbrauerei's event rooms.

For the European Football Championships, the Poststadion in Moabit will become the Pride House. Here, queer football fans can cheer on their favourite team in a safe space. In addition to the broadcast of all 51 matches, local sports and queer clubs will provide a colourful programme of entertainment. There will be variety shows, concerts, parties and art. Among other things, you can see the exhibition fan.tastic females. The opening is on 14 June.
