Exhibition: Vaginal Davis - Fabelhaftes Produkt
20 years after the artist, author and performer Vaginal Davis moved from Los Angeles to Berlin, the Gropius Bau is showing the first comprehensive solo exhibition of her work in Germany. Her groundbreaking work combines punk and glamour, queer activism and Black counter-culture as well as resistance and desire.
A creative universe between punk, glamour & queer activism
Vaginal Davis: Fabelhaftes Produkt brings together large-scale installations, paintings, video and film works, zines, texts, music and performance and offers a comprehensive overview of Davis' multi-layered practice and her artistic collaborations.
