Strandbad Orankesee

The Orankesee is a popular bathing destination in the east of Berlin. It is nearly seven metres deep at its deepest point. You can also hike the trail circling the lake that runs for just barely a kilometre. It is surrounded by a protected green space in the Hohenschönhausen villa district. The 1929 beach offers both a sand beach and a lawn to catch some rays on. Beach chairs, sun loungers, and deck chairs can be rented.
