Spring festival

With the first big shindig - the Spring Festival in Reinickendorf, Berlin welcomes spring in a festive way. A variety of attractions awaits you on the fairground with more than 50 showmen and women and almost 80 rides. You can enjoy a very special view of the colourful hustle and bustle and springtime Berlin from the Ferris wheel.

Spring in the Gardens of the World

In spring, not only nature blossoms again, but also Berlin. It's getting warmer and the sun is finally shining again. A great occasion for a cosy picnic in the awakening nature is a visit to the Gärten der Welt. The annual Cherry Blossom Festival will also be held there on 5 and 6 April. Look forward to a sea of pink blossoms, numerous workshops, art and music. You can also marvel at cosplayers and their costumes and look forward to traditional Japanese handicrafts and culinary delights.

Spring Awakening in the Düppel Museum Village

The Museumsdorf Düppel has a very special programme on offer for the Easter holidays. At various stations, visitors of all ages can paint Easter eggs or weave flannels from fabric remnants. There are also historical children's games and baking bread on a stick. The guided tour "Spring in the Middle Ages" is also sure to be interesting.

Podesthelden in der Bibliothek am Wasserturm

The children's programme at the Bibliothek am Wasserturm involves singing, painting, crafting and much more. The programme is aimed at children aged 2 to 6 and includes various hands-on activities and offers. Children aged 2 to 6 can look forward to a varied picture book cinema programme and get to know lots of interesting books and other media.

Britzer Baumblüte 

This year, the Berlin Family Folk Festival is taking place for the 69th time. It offers a varied and colourful programme for young and old with various rides and a creative stage programme. On Easter Sunday and Monday, the Easter Bunny will hand out surprises to children. Wednesday is also Family Day, so you can enjoy reduced prices on the rides. The cosy beer garden and other culinary highlights round off your visit.

Easter holiday programme at Tierpark Berlin

During the Easter holidays, Tierpark Berlin offers a varied programme. With various themed days, participants are given a glimpse behind the scenes at the zoo. Experiments and craft projects are also on the agenda. A small packed lunch is included. Please note that tickets are only available online in advance.

Fest for technology fans

For Open Monument Day at the Schöneweide railway depot, young and old technology fans are cordially invited to visit the site and the historic locomotive workshop. Learn about the fascinating history of the railway in Berlin's last almost completely preserved engine shed.
