The Berlin Circus Festival will return in 2025 and once again transform Tempelhofer Feld into a venue for contemporary circus arts. Since 2015, the festival has established itself as the most important platform for this art form in Germany, presenting a curated selection of the best productions from across Europe.
Diverse programme and international artists
Over a period of twelve days, the festival presents a wide range of performances combining classic circus disciplines with elements from theatre, dance, music and the visual arts. Renowned companies and emerging talents from the international circus scene present innovative productions and outstanding artistry.
Supporting programme and special formats
In addition to the stage performances, the festival offers interactive formats such as audience discussions, panel discussions and networking events that promote the exchange between artists, industry professionals and visitors. An art exhibition that changes every year and live concerts complete the cultural programme.
A wide range of gastronomic options ensures a special festival atmosphere that transforms the Tempelhofer Feld into a vibrant meeting place.
A festival for diversity and sustainability
The Berlin Circus Festival is committed to equal representation of different gender identities on stage and pursues a sustainable festival approach. An awareness team supports the creation of a respectful and inclusive event location.
