The European Days of Arts and Crafts traditionally attract a large audience in Berlin in spring. Berlin artisans and designers as well as museums and universities regularly invite people to watch and participate in their workshops and studios and show traditional, innovative and creative crafts.

Since 2002, an entire weekend at the beginning of April has been dedicated to arts and crafts in Europe, including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Latvia, Portugal, Ireland and Switzerland, and since 2014 also in Berlin.
