Christmas Market Tips for 15–17 November

As winter days grow darker and colder, these Christmas markets bring a festive glow to the season. Some especially charming and rustic markets are opening next weekend, offering cozy punch and hearty food by open fires, mesmerizing fire shows, artistic light installations, and opportunities to glide over sparkling ice for skating or curling.

Starting 14 November - The historic Christmas market on the RAW site

Rustic fire pits and fantastic light and art installations make the historic Christmas market at the RAW site an enchanting experience for the whole family. Enjoy food, drinks, and fire shows in a festive setting inspired by medieval traditions.

Starting 15 November - Winterwelt Grünau

Experience ice skating, tobogganing, and bread roasting over an open campfire at Grünau's Winterwelt. This winter destination by the beach also offers savory and sweet treats, along with a large indoor play area for little ones to play and warm up nearby.

Starting 16 November - Heissa Holzmarkt

From November, warm up at Holzmarkt with cozy fire pits and a hot cup of mulled wine. Each Advent season, this Creative Village by the Spree transforms into a magical Christmas world, with small market stalls full of glittering trinkets, unique gifts. Perfect for getting into the winter and holiday spirit with family and friends. New this year, the "Warme Winterkater" invites everyone to dance into winter from Thursday to Saturday.

The Christmas market on the Spree opens 18 November, offering a cozy, all-inclusive experience (from 29.90 euros) with mulled wine, punch, hot chocolate, bratwurst, spaetzle, and other treats. Enjoy fire barrels, seating areas, and activities like curling and tree nailing.
