"gute aussichten FOKUS Mexiko - Deutschland’ is the result of an international cooperation effort between gute aussichten and the Centro de la Imagen to promote the emerging photographic and visual production of Mexico and Germany, and thus encourage their dissemination outside their own country.

Through FOKUS, gute aussichten proposes a model of exchange of experiences, situated in different cultures and contexts, in order to develop new and collaborative visual projects that reflect on our present, its logics and dynamics.
The intercultural dialogue of the gute aussichten FOKUS Mexico-Germany duos, composed of Mariel Miranda and Konstantin Weber, Ana García Jácome and Sophie Allerding, Andrea Carrillo and Nadja Bournonville, Rodrigo Jardón Galeana and Holger Jenss, and Eleana Konstantellos and Chris Becher resulted in explorations of friendship and family memory, questioning studies of the human body, the notion of parenthood, and reflections on the degradation and preservation of the territory and its species.
