Wine festival with live music

Taste wines, enjoy, experience live music: At Späth'sche Baumschulen, winegrowing families from German winegrowing regions invite you to taste their wines. The historic packing hall and a large gardener's foil tent will be transformed into an enjoyable wine route

Visitors can taste all the wines and take them home or order them at the winegrower's price.

Wine tasting directly from the winegrower in spring-like surroundings

The winegrowers present wines for connoisseurs and gourmets. Specialties such as a Blanc de Noir feinherb from the Sauerweins vineyard on the Moselle, with hints of fig and strawberry, will be served. The ungrafted vines of the Benedict Loosen Erben winery grow on the steep slopes of the Rhenish Slate Mountains and Wittlicher Senke near Ürzig on the Moselle with a gradient of up to 68 degrees. This is where a natural Riesling matures, given its unmistakable character by the red slate soil and volcanic rock.

Combining tradition and modernity with a love of experimentation

The up-and-coming organic-certified winery B. A. Schmitt from the heart of Rheinhessen produces white wines and sparkling wines, as well as powerful red wines, some of which are matured in used whisky barrels. This gives the red wines their special note and also appeals to whisky fans. The Soma Borpince family winery from Hungary, located in the Szentantalfa wine region on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, is taking part for the first time. Its history dates back to the 15th century

Live music, culinary delights and free bus shuttle

The Späth'sche Weinstraße is musically framed by the lively jazz, blues and Latin sounds of the "Doc Blue & friends" band. Culinary delights are provided by Späth's - the inn, as well as suppliers of cheese and French salami to go with the wine.

Both the historic packing hall and the large Gärtner foil tent are decorated in a springtime style and are well heated.  A special service is a free shuttle bus to the U7 and S-Bahn.

Day ticket: 15 euros (all wine tastings included)

On all days from 3 p.m.: Bus shuttle to U7 "Blaschkoallee" and S "Baumschulenweg" (free of charge)
