Midnight sausages with celebrities and champagne
Bier's Kudamm 195 has history!
In 1965, the well-known Berlin photojournalist Klaus-Peter Bier opened the first Bier's Imbiss on Kurfürstendamm. In a very short time, the place established itself as a popular meeting place for prominent personalities from society, politics, business and culture. Klaus-Peter Bier puts the original Berlin curry sausage in the spotlight and refines it with champagne - literally making it presentable. The ingenious business idea Fastfood Fine-Art "Currywurst & Champagne" is born.
More snack bars open: Bier's Mini 7 Bahnhof Zoo and Bier's Checkpoint Charlie, where Klaus-Peter Bier took some of his famous series of pictures in 1961 - since July 2022 there is also Bier's Imbiss here with a small exhibition of his great works.
