Weinbar Rutz

Mediterranean

In 2023, the Guide Michelin will award the Rutz for the fourth time as the only restaurant in Berlin with three stars, as well as the green star for sustainability. This is because kitchen director Marco Müller focuses on freshness and origin for all ingredients and works closely with local producer farms to achieve this.

The transparency of the kitchen is symbolically reflected in the two-storey wall panel, behind which exquisite ingredients such as spruce needles or kombucha shimmer. And at a high table opposite the kitchen passport, guests are invited to enjoy a course of their menu while standing and experiencing the kitchen team in action.

Modern dining culture

The interior is just as high-quality as the dishes, with handcrafted walnut elements and high-quality leather upholstery. Modern elegance that signals consistency, but does not close itself off to new influences. Because this is the only way to ensure quality and high standards.

Opened in 2021 as a wine bar, the Rutz has become a star restaurant with a unique ambience that now focuses on modern dining culture on two floors. The wine rack from the early days can still be found on the ground floor of the starred restaurant. In summer, the idyllic terrace with its vines, vegetable perennials and garden herbs is one of the most beautiful places in the city.
