Nicholas Hahn shows you typical Berlin locations
Once through the neighbourhoods
Chef Nicholas Hahn has been cooking at Cookies Cream, the top address for all fans of vegetarian cuisine, since 2023. In addition to stints in the USA, Portugal and Austria, he has already gained experience in Berlin, at the Michelin-starred restaurant 1st Floor and as head chef at Restaurant Steinplatz.
Typically Berlin, that's the cool Cookies Cream! Just the way to the restaurant: it leads through the delivery entrance via a backyard to the restaurant on the 1st floor. Once inside the restaurant, you can admire the casual, industrial-style ambience and then enjoy the vegetarian - or vegan, if you prefer - menu. The Michelin Guide has awarded the carefully curated cuisine one star every year since 2018. The restaurant was founded by Heinz ‘Cookie’ Gindullis, an innovative pioneer of the Berlin restaurant scene - long before the trend towards vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

And just like Cookies Cream, the tips are typically Berlin - each in their own way.
Enjoy a juicy kebab at Ugur
Typical Berlin ... that's Ugur, a kebab shop with tradition. The snack bar has been serving its delicious kebabs, lahmacun and various grilled dishes since 1982, and its customers thank it time and time again. This is probably because everything at Ugur is homemade and served with lots of love.

Discover all kinds of noodles at Shaniu's House of Noodles
Shaniu's House of Noodles in Wilmersdorf also enjoys cult status - known for its combination of Shanghainese and Korean cuisine. The name says it all, as the restaurant specialises in hand-prepared noodle dishes in all kinds of variations. In addition to noodle soups and dumplings, the cold noodles with vegetables and minced meat, pork belly and braised pork ribs are particularly popular.

Bella Italia in Berlin
The cosy Due Forni is a paradise for pizza fans. Crispy, delicious pizza is served at tables with red and white chequered tablecloths amidst cheerful graffiti on the walls - for many, the best in all of Berlin. The large portions invite you to share - as does the fresh pasta with its delicious sauce. Typical Italian moments of pleasure - in the centre of Berlin.

Coda
Coda shows how innovative cuisine works in Berlin: The first - and still only - 2-star dessert restaurant in Germany makes dessert the main protagonist of the menu. In this unusual gastronomic concept, the kitchen team creates original dishes using patisserie techniques. You can enjoy dishes such as ‘aubergine, pecan, apple balsamic, liquorice salt’ or ‘parsley root, black garlic & pistachio’ with the accompanying pairing drinks.
