Capturing the fleeting moment forever: You can enjoy this sight at Berlin’s museums for photography and film.
The Museum für Fotografie (Museum for Photography) is dedicated to the great photographers and their works. The Filmmuseum presents German film history from the first moving images, silent film masterpieces and new German cinema up to and including current films. The Kunstgewerbemuseum (Museum of Decorative Arts) at the Kulturforum and in Köpenick as well as the Bauhaus-Archiv display design from various periods. A tip for fashionistas: you can wander through an exhibition of fantastic items of clothing at the Kunstgewerbemuseum and marvel at the intricacies of designs by Dior and Chanel.
