The Mall of Berlin on Leipziger Platz offers high-quality shopping pleasure in around hundreds of shops, as well as snack bars, restaurants and leisure facilities.
Shops
In addition to international chains, luxury brands have also opened their shops in the Mall of Berlin. In addition to the fashion and lifestyle shops, the shopping centre is also home to a Hertha BSC shop and the Saturn consumer electronics shop.
Eat & Drink in the Food Court
For a break during your shopping spree, the Food Court on the 2nd floor in the west wing offers restaurants and snack bars with burgers, currywurst, ice cream parlours and international street food.
Architecture & History
Architecturally, the shopping centre impresses with its simple elegance with light-coloured stone and a glass roof. In the centre is the large piazetta between two side wings, which house the boutiques and shops.
The Wertheim department stores', one of the most famous in Berlin, used to be located on this site. In the 1990s, the legendary Technoclub Tresor used the former vault. After the Gropiuspassagen, the Mall of Berlin, which opened in 2014, is the second largest shopping mall in Berlin.
How to get there
The Mall of Berlin has a parking garage with entrances in Voßstraße and Wilhelmstraße. There are numerous bicycle parking spaces around the shopping centre.
Near the Mall of Berlin
At Leipziger Platz, the old shopping district was rebuilt after reunification. You can also visit the German Spy Museum. In addition to the Canadian Embassy, there are other shops on Leipziger Platz, including a large Uniclo. Right next door is the Potsdamer Platz with further shopping opportunities as well as theatres, cinemas and restaurants.
