Swimming surrounded by nature
Krumme Lanke got its name by its curved shape. It is located in the south-western Berlin district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf near the lake Schlachtensee, surrounded by the dense green forest of the Grunewald. There is a boardwalk that runs the entire circuit around the lake. This is a popular spot not just for walkers and joggers; in summer, the crowds of swimmers settle in on the lawns for a day of fun in the sun. For those who fancy going skinny dipping, the beach at Fischerhüttenstraße is open to nudists.
