Experience the immersive worlds of wonder at IKONO Berlin

Content creators, selfie pros and anyone who fancies an immersive exhibition experience are in the right place at IKONO Berlin at Alexanderplatz. Because here you can experience art in a whole new way. Nine experimental artists from all over the world design the interior spaces of the IKONO Berlin, creating 14 different worlds in which unique backdrops invite you to pose.

In a tour lasting around one hour, you can discover all the worlds of experience and take reels, selfies and group photos. The works of art on display give each picture its very own cinematic flair.

After Madrid, Rome and Copenhagen, now also in Berlin

The IKONO is already at home in Madrid, Rome, Copenhagen, Vienna, Budapest and Barcelona - and since September 2024 also in Berlin. In the heart of the city, right on Alexanderplatz, IKONO invites people of all ages to let off steam in the various art worlds. Here, creativity meets technology and enables a realistic journey into the world of fantasy.

From one world to the next...

The different worlds offer multifaceted backdrops that will amaze young and old alike. At IKONO Berlin, you can interact with playing machines, free-flying balloons and floating lanterns and enjoy an exhibition experience that you will remember for a long time to come.

What not to miss:

  • In the Yococho Alley s, you can stroll through a Japanese alley - lanterns, traditional wooden buildings and the atmosphere of the land of the rising sun.
  • In the room full of silver infinity balloons, you can pose and use the floating props for your photos.
  • In the Motherboard Arcade, you'll be transported straight back to the 1980s. Test your gaming skills and enjoy the nostalgia of the past century.

Your visit to IKONO Berlin

IKONO Berlin is located in the centre of Alexanderplatz and is easily accessible by public transport. Take the S-Bahn lines S3, S5, S7 and S9, the U-Bahn lines U2, U5 or U8 as well as the Tram lines M4, M5 and M6 to Alexanderplatz station. The bus lines 100, 200, 245 and N2 also take you directly to the neighbourhood. From there, it is only a few minutes' walk to IKONO Berlin.

In the immediate vicinity of the IKONO Berlin, you will find numerous cultural highlights that can be easily reached on foot. The impressive Berlin TV Tower is just a few minutes' walk away, along with the revolving restaurant, which offers spectacular views over the city. A few minutes' walk away is the historic Red Town Hall, one of Berlin's most important landmarks.
