Hoher Fläming Nature Park
Themed walks and old architecture
The idyllic landscape of the Hoher Fläming is just under an hour’s drive away from the bustle of the capital city. The south side of the park is covered with forest and hills, while the north side contains extensive flat meadows. The park is home to numerous hiking and biking trails, including Euroroute 1, that offer the opportunity to discover nature and the surrounding area. There are paths that focus on topics such as art, castles or mountain newts and there’s even a barefoot hiking trail. Anyone interested in old buildings will enjoy visiting the castles and stone churches. And for some relaxing and pampering after a tour, you can always head over to the spa town of Bad Belzig with its thermal baths.
