The bear finds three delicious mushrooms on his way home in the forest. His friend, the weasel, immediately stews them in the heavy pan. But then the two have a problem: Three mushrooms for two? How is that supposed to work?
Both have resourceful arguments as to why one should get more than the other: "I found them!" stands against "I prepared them." The exclamation, "But according to my recipe!" is followed by the retort, "I prefer to eat mushrooms!" "But I'm bigger!" is cleverly countered with "I still have to grow." Then a cunning fox sneaks up and snatches the last mushroom. This is now really annoying, but at least peace returns at last. If the weasel didn't have another dessert: three wild strawberries.
When two quarrel, the third is usually happy. This is also the case here, where it's all about sharing, discussing and beating about the bush. Director Yüksel Yolcu and his actors tell a wonderful, amusing story about justice and weave in great songs with double bass, accordion and charango.
The production is based on the picture book by Jörg Mühle, Zwei für mich, einer für dich.
