Bear and Tiger live a contented life until curiosity lures them on a journey: to Panama, a place of dreams with the wonderful smell of bananas. However, the journey becomes not only a wonderful adventure, but also a real test of their friendship. It starts when you're packing: with the question of whether you should start straight away or plan the trip meticulously. And if you get lost in the middle of the night and are standing in the rain, you'd rather blame the other person for the sake of simplicity.
In a performance characterized by situational comedy, bear and tiger experience their happiness together in a completely new way after many adventures and arguments. A converted Citroën 2CV causes a stir as a tiger duck, while rhythmic Caribbean music interludes evoke sunny feelings.
Against the background of a simple story, the Janosch adaptation offers highly interesting themes such as departure and journey, daring to try new things, home and foreigners, different types and friendship. Great wisdom for small viewers and small thought-provoking ideas for larger viewers included.
According to Janosch: An ode to friendship and the shared search for happiness. For everyone aged 4 and over.
