The cinema library is moving and carefully packing its museum objects. How exactly does this work? Which objects and materials need special treatment and transport? And: Where can you visit the cinema library and its collections in the future?

During the tour of the permanent exhibition, selected objects and their travel plans are presented - from the Amazon steamer "Molly Aida" from Werner Herzog's "Fitzcarraldo", a model ship that was delivered by heavy-duty crane, to the numerous image and text documents stored in acid-free Special boxes return to the archive, right up to Marlene Dietrich's precious costumes, which are carefully stored in the dark.

The diverse objects and documents, props and textiles tell film history and exemplify the central tasks of this museum.
