Winter Moonlight Tour

Born in 1985 in Zhukovsky, Russia, Evgeny Grinko was exposed to music at an early age through films and cartoons. Fascinated by Russian rockabilly and surf music, and inspired by Western bands such as Prodigy and Nirvana, he got his first guitar as a teenager.

He started playing guitar professionally at 16, later switching to drums and joining indie noise bands in Moscow. A crucial moment in his musical development was the discovery of the piano, which he taught himself. His composition “Valse” went viral in 2010 and gave him his breakthrough in the contemporary classical scene.

Since then, Evgeny has released four albums and six EPs, including “Ice for Aureliano Buendia” and “Orange Marmalade”. His music, which is a mix of humor, melancholy and cinematic elements, has reached a large audience worldwide, with over 400 million streams on Spotify and 200 million views on YouTube.

In 2022, Evgeny left Russia after publicly opposing the war in Ukraine and moved to Berlin. He continues his musical work and remains a major figure in contemporary classical music.

A new album is planned for 2025.
