This city tour traces lost and forgotten churches and their significance for the city's history.
🔹 Starting point: Gendarmenmarkt, where the history of the German Church and the French Friedrichstadt Church is explained. Although not forgotten, they were severely damaged during World War II and later rebuilt.
🔹 Further route: Via Taubenstraße, the route leads past the Schleiermacherhaus to the former site of the Trinity Church, whose layout is now marked by colored stones in the pavement.
🔹 Next stop: The former site of Bethlehem Church, once home to the Bohemian community.
🔹 Via Checkpoint Charlie, the route continues to Kreuzberg, to Rudi-Dutschke-Straße at the Axel-Springer-Haus. Here, participants learn more about the Jerusalem Church, which was blown up in 1961.
🔹 Ending point: Petrikirchplatz, where Cölln's oldest church is highlighted.
