The band Ecclesiophon has its roots in church life and has, from the beginning, organized a wide variety of church services and concerts in changing contexts. A highlight in the band's history was the musical arrangement of a church service with Pope John Paul II in June 1996 in Berlin's Olympic Stadium.

Ecclesiophon also devoted itself to music for children and created three albums. This year the group is celebrating its 35th anniversary. In this long time, the members have experienced a lot together, and not just musically. This has led to ideas for songs that have sprung from the band members' eventful lives and often make you think, but also smile.

The songs performed in the concert were written by Veronika Gog (piano and vocals), Stephan Peters (horn, flugelhorn, tuba and vocals) and Benedikt Büdenbender (guitar and vocals). Other band members are: Lucia Ring (flutes and vocals), Martin Lobert (acoustic guitars and vocals), Markus Kocur (drums and percussion), Gabi Ernsting (vocals) and Peter Kloss-Nelson (bass and vocals).

Free entry, donations welcome.
