Drawings and prints by the Brücke group of artists
In 1905, an artist group was founded in Dresden that called itself "Brücke". Its members are now considered representatives of expressionism and pioneers of modernism. In each session, one artist is put in the spotlight in order to shed light on his individual approaches in comparison to his colleagues.
For this purpose, selected masterpieces are examined in the seminar room of the Kupferstichkabinett exclusively in a small group under the direction of Britta Bode or Thomas R. Hoffmann - literally.
