Roter Salon of Volksbühne at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz becomes a space for engaging with materiality, decoding, and inner transformation. The concert Fermata by Spydergum and the live performance ∞333 by Irene Carbonari aka cuntremember explore states of transition, dissolution, and identity.
Curated by Dounia Biedermann and Sophie Boysen, Tränen sind Worte, die das Herz nicht aussprechen kann is an evening of sound, body, and transformation—set during a transitional time of year, when the energy of spring stretches toward summer, the old fades, and the new is not yet tangible.
May 15 marks the end of the „Eisheiligen“ (the „Ice Saints“)—a symbolic turning point when the last cold yields to the coming change. It is a moment of pause, suspended between transience and departure—and offers a preview of the exhibition of the same name coming in October 2025.
Spydergum: Fermata concert
The performance Fermata is bringing together up to 13 artists of the Spydergum ensemble to explore experimental soundscapes between electronic and acoustic music. Rooted in material developed during their residency at Morphine Raum in November 2024, the performance merges with the musicians’ improvisational sensibilities crafting an immersive sonic environment, transforming The Roter Salon into a breathing, resonant sculpture—a living structure in a constant state of transformation.

Irene Carbonari aka cunt remember with Uliana Velgosh and Gio Petrellese: ∞333 live performance∞333 is a live performance composed of light, sound, and movement—a fluid state that brings the virtual and physical realms into alignment.
At its core lies an inner process of harmonization: a convergence of fragmented parts that releases the repressed self and activates the energy necessary to unfold one’s full potential. The performance opens up a transitional space where self-discovery and identity crisis meet creative transformation.
Enlightenment through the darkness begins with accepting the shadows, revealing a spectrum of reality that can only be seen by embracing contradictions.Performer: Irene Carbonari aka cunt rememberCreative Direction: Uliana VelgoshSound: Irene Carbonari aka cuntrememberSet Design: Gio Petrellese
