ՁՅՈՒՆ ԿԱՐ | Film & Talk

Stuck in a refugee asylum on the shores of Marseille, families from Armenia wait to be given a new lease on life in France, while ruminating on the idealized past they’ve left behind. Tamara Stepanyan’s poetic documentary turns this narrative of uprooted people caught in a limbo of bureaucratic and political uncertainty into a delicate tapestry of the 21st century immigrant experience.
