The 62nd Theatertreffen will take place from 2 to 18 May 2025. The 10 remarkable productions from the German-speaking world, selected by a jury of critics, will be staged in Berlin.

Every year, the Theatertreffen Award is given to the invited ensembles of the 10 selected productions.
The festival centre is traditionally the Haus der Berliner Festspiele. The event is an innovative meeting place for theatre-makers and enthusiasts from around the world, a networking and discourse platform and an open space for the theatre arts.
Since 1964, the Theatertreffen has brought remarkable productions from German-speaking countries and works by young artists from around the world to Berlin every May.
The selection of plays and the programme will be announced.
