The lives of three teenage protagonists fall apart in one day, as the first Nagorno-Karabakh war unfolds with full force at the beginning of the 1990s. Told from multiple perspectives, director Jivan Avetisyan’s debut feature starkly dramatizes the horrific impact of this ethnic conflict on children and communities who are forced into an existential battle between the need to survive and their unwavering commitment to their native land.
