Talking... & Other Banana Skins addresses the polarization of society. It encourages visitors to question their own perspectives. Conflicts and issues are complex and cannot be pigeonholed. The artworks presented in the eight chapters of the exhibition question how and what is communicated in society and in the urban environment. They put the focus back on exchange and dialogue.

  • #1 WE NEED TO TALK - Is my view of things the only correct one?
  • #2 FORTY-TWO - Are we still able to have a dialogue with ourselves?
  • #3 SHIFTING PERSPECTIVES - Are we ready to look at the world in this differentiated way?
  • #4 THE FORUM - Would more publicity lead to more togetherness?
  • #5 DEEP FAKE - When do we trust information sources and images and when do we distrust them?
  • #6 I AM AN X BUT... - How do I learn to develop a tolerance that helps myself and others?
  • #7 HYBRID HISTORIES - Are we ready to learn from history considering all perspectives?
  • #8 FAIL AGAIN, FAIL BETTER - Doesn't failure open up the opportunity for a new beginning?
