The Narration of a Life Story in Songs

"My name is Antonio, I am the son of two diplomats. I was 8 when we landed in Berlin and luckily, after so many cities, I stayed." This is how this story begins, which tells the life of an Italian in Berlin with all its joys and crises using songs in Italian, English, German and Portuguese.

This type of performance was inspired by the "song theater" of the Italian singer-songwriter Giorgio Gaber, but the narrative style is more similar to the film "Moulin Rouge" by Baz Luhrmann, where well-known and original songs are used to tell a story.

Angelo Mazzotti, an Italian with German, Polish, Jewish and Baltic roots, has artistic experience as a jazz and pop singer, choir singer, guitarist, composer, lyricist and as an Argentinian tango dancer.

The German pianist and saxophonist Andreas Günther, who comes from Hamburg and currently lives in Berlin, is an internationally active jazz musician and composer.
